“Celebrate The Tibet Fund’s 40 years of service to the Tibetan community at its 11th Annual Gala on October 20 this year. Chaired by Richard Gere, this special event will be hosted by Michelin star Chef Eric Ripert, who will offer his signature dishes for the occasion. Silent auction items including treasured experiential, and aesthetically beautiful Tibetan artworks and photography will be made available to purchase for a cause.

The Annual Gala of The Tibet Fund has been the main fundraising event to generate revenue for the organization and to bring together many of our friends and supporters of the Tibetan people. The galas also serve as opportunities to honor exceptional people who have made significant contributions in preserving and promoting Tibetan culture and shared in our mission to rebuild and sustain Tibetan culture. HH the Dalai Lama attended the first Gala Dinner of the Tibet Fund in New York on August 12, 1999.
