Program Highlights:

1. Opening Ceremony

The evening begins with an opening ceremony to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Dege Kyiduk, a crucial organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Tibetan culture. This will feature speeches from key figures such as the Chief Guest Juchen Kunchok Choedon, Member of Parliament from Dhotoe Province, and the Dege Gyalyong Lhentsok President. They will share reflections on the 25-year journey of Dege Kyiduk, emphasizing the profound cultural and historical significance of Dege, an area in Eastern Tibet known for its spirituality, art, and heritage. This segment will honor Tibetan culture and its global importance.

2. Special Traditional Tibetan Dege Dance Performance & Gorshey

One of the event's key highlights is the traditional Dege cultural dance performance:

  • Dege Dance Performance: The dancers will portray the beauty of Tibetan spirituality, nature, and culture through symbolic movements. The performance will be accompanied by traditional Tibetan instruments such as the Dungchen (long horn) and Dranyen (lute), reflecting the themes of Tibetan Buddhism—unity, reverence for nature, and spiritual devotion.

  • Costumes: Dancers will wear vibrant, traditional Tibetan attire adorned with intricate patterns, symbolizing the ethnic diversity of Tibet. The dances may also narrate stories of Tibetan deities or important community rituals.

  • Gorshey Dance: Following the dance performance, guests will participate in the Gorshey, a circle dance symbolizing unity and harmony. The dancers will move in a coordinated fashion, clapping along to the rhythmic beats of Tibetan music, inviting everyone to join in this communal celebration.

3. Special Tibetan Dinner

Guests will enjoy a traditional Tibetan feast, featuring a variety of iconic dishes that reflect both everyday Tibetan food and those reserved for festive occasions.

Menu Highlights:
