Medicine, Music & Mantra with Drukmo Gyal - Free Webinar

This December on the Shang Shung School of Tibetan Medicine free webinar series, we are delighted to welcome our special guest, Tibetan Medicine practitioner and acclaimed musician, Drukmo Gyal!

Tibetan Medicine teaches that the three parts comprising the human dimension include body, speech, and mind. The energy of speech is beautifully expressed through music. The singing of sacred mantras, engaging all three aspects, has profound potential for healing.

Join us to explore the relationship between Tibetan Medicine, music, and mantra with our host Menpa Phuntsog Wangmo, and special guest, Drukmo Gyal.

Guest Bio:

Drukmo Gyal was raised in Rebgong, in the Amdo region of Tibet. Mantra and meditation were an integral part of her daily life from a young age. She studied traditional Tibetan Medicine in Amdo and then studied under the well-known Tibetan physician Dr. Nida Chenatsang.  In her 2016 TedXTalk, Drukmo Gyal explains the power of the feminine and the importance of women within the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.
