• Unveiling of the Statue of His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama

• Consecration of the Statue of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama by Namgyal Monks

• Consecration of the HHDL Library and Learning Center by Namgyal Monks

• Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

• Mandala Offering

• Prayers by the Namgyal Monks

• Traditional Sweet Rice and Tea Offering

• Opening speeches and presentations

3 PM - Tibetan Cultural Program

Day 2 – Saturday September 9th:

9am-12pm Interfaith Dialogues (Participants TBA)

Session I: Presentations by guests representing different faiths, as well as those who profess no faith, on universal human values such as compassion and kindness, describing the core beliefs that undergird these values as well as considerations on how cultural values may influence them.

Session II:

2pm-5pm Workshops and Roundtables

Day 3: Sunday September 10th

9am-12pm Dialogues on Secular Ethics and Contemplative Practices (Participants TBA)

• Session I: Participants will discuss the methods employed to nurture the development of positive human values, including various forms of meditation or contemplative practices, as well as evidence of the efficacy of these practices in everyday life.
