About the Author
Tenzin Tsundue is a Tibetan writer and activist, born and raised in India. He studied literature and philosophy at Madras and Bombay University. The award-winning writer has four books to his credit and has been translated into fifteen languages. His writing has inspired movies, plays, and books. Some of them have been anthologized and are being taught as part of the curriculum in universities in India and abroad. His poetry book Kora sold over 50,000 copies and runs into the 14th editions. His protest actions for the cause of Tibet have landed him in jail 16 times, including the one in Lhasa, Tibet. He is one of the most jailed writers, a freedom fighter of our times. He lives in Dharamshala, India.
