Tiger Gray | Sonam Yeshi Cotton Summer Scarf

Tiger: In Tibet, Tiger's symbolized fierceness and bravery, and represented power and status. The tiger lending its clout to those seated on its stipes. As Buddhist culture seeped into Tibet, tiger's were no longer hunted for their stripes. Instead, destruction gave way to patients, efforts and skill, recreating the tiger into carpets on brocade. Thanks to art and creative, the only capturing was one of form, color and patterns, with artisan's expressing and celebrating the tiger's beauty and power. The hundreds of designs floating in the art world and museums today reflect these unique styles, come down to us through the centuries.
